The magneto-inductive method is a non-destructive procedure that uses the magnetic flux variation to detect internal and external wire breaks, distortions and corrosions on steel cables.
In this field the LF signal is the main technique used and it’s the only one completely regulated by international standards (EN12927).
The LF signal consists of measuring the flow dispersed inside the device, capable of detecting defects inside the rope that are not visible to the human eye.
We are able to carry out magneto-inductive tests for ropes in Ø from 6 to 65 mm.
